Interference Testing and Consultancy Services (ITC Services) was established in 1988 as the first privately owned Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) Test Laboratory and Consultancy service in South Africa.
The company is situated on the well known Sudest Estates at Kameeldrift East, Pretoria. The serene bush veld surroundings offerboth our clients and employees a pleasurable work environment.
ITC Services has a MIL-STD-461 test facility and an Open Area Test Site. A Consultancy Service on non-compliant laboratory-tested products is provided, a first for South Africa. This has become an invaluable value-added service to our clients. ITC Services continues to test numerous products for Electromagnetic Compatibility and over the past years has assisted a wide spectrum of companies in the South African electronics and military industries to solve their EMC/EMI problems.
Project Management has become an important service to our customers. ITC Services has, through the years, managed various projects, one of which includes full responsibility for the Secure Communication System of the SAAF HQ which was conducted over a 3 year period.
Integration of systems is also undertaken at ITC Services. Recently a project was completed where ITC Services supplied the equipment, designed the custom software and integrated the whole system into an automated test system for the SANDF.
In-house Manufacturing has evolved from the need to supply various components such as RFI Filters, Equipment CabinetsMagnetic Shields and various types of Screened Enclosures.
ITC Services will expand to become the leader in Electro Magnetic Compatibility in Africa within the next decade through the provision of total solutions to its clients in a cost-effective manner.
